Route 66 does not stretch under such mild skies as its American namesake. Seventy-seven kilometres wedged between Alsace and Lorraine. A grey sky, a complex history. Between the dominating nature and the outrageous traffic, Route 66 is looking for a goal. To get somewhere. A confusing road trip in the wake of an (almost) mythical road.

FRANÇAIS // Le premier acte symbolique fut l’achat de la carte Michelin n°314 « Haute-Saône-Vosges ». Face à nous, la Route 66. Enfin presque. La nationale 66 ne s’étire pas sous des cieux aussi cléments que son homonyme américaine. Soixante-dix-sept kilomètres coincés entre l’Alsace et la Lorraine. Un ciel gris, une histoire complexe. Entre la nature dominante et la circulation outrancière, la Route 66 se cherche un but. Arriver quelque part. Un road trip déroutant dans le sillage d’une route (presque) mythique.
